Area Sales Manager – Kolkata

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead our sales operations in Kolkata. The role focuses on driving TPD sales through a network of partners, brokers and channel intermediaries while ensuring timely delivery of quotes and achieving business targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies with various partners to increase TPD sales.
• Maintain continuous interaction with brokers and intermediaries, securing quote requests and delivering them promptly.
• Track business volumes, growth metrics and pipeline to meet targets.
• Engage and acquire channel partners, gather market feedback and innovate product offerings.
• Manage the overall P&L of the portfolio, ensuring the desired product mix and quality.
• Collaborate with product teams to improve conversion rates and retain profitable clients.
• Lead, recruit, coach and develop a high‑performing sales team.
• Communicate progression plans and incentives to align team expectations and drive performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales and channel management, preferably in the telecom or related sector.
• Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with partners, brokers and internal stakeholders.
• Demonstrated track record of managing P&L and achieving sales targets.
• Leadership skills to recruit, coach and develop sales professionals.
