Area Sales Manager – Insurance

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will lead the insurance business delivery for the Agency travel team and tie‑up initiatives, driving growth and profitability across the assigned region. You will act as the primary liaison between internal functions and external partners to ensure seamless service delivery to clients and banking partners.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve overall Gross Written Premium targets.
• Maintain sustainable profitability and keep Cost of Risk (COR) within budgeted levels.
• Ensure operational hygiene and activation of sales initiatives.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders including Operations, Finance, HR, Training, Claims, Product, Marketing and Business Intelligence.
• Manage relationships with external stakeholders such as agents and partner managers.

Required profile

• 5‑6 years of experience in the insurance sector.
• At least 3‑4 years of experience leading a business line or retail sales team.
• Graduation degree in any discipline.
