Area Sales Manager – Electrical Market Division (CACS)

About the role

3M is seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead growth initiatives for its Electrical Market Division (CACS) across Tamil Nadu and Kerala. You will drive market penetration, manage key accounts, and deliver sales targets while representing 3M’s innovative solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own sales performance for the Tamil Nadu & Kerala region, including booking sales, pricing, and payment collection.
• Manage key accounts for C&I and utility segments (EPC, consultants, electrical contractors).
• Identify and pursue business growth opportunities to increase volume and market share.
• Lead pre‑sales and business development activities to meet regional targets.
• Consolidate technical and commercial proposals for greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Drive value‑selling initiatives and support customers with tailored solutions.
• Utilize Salesforce (SFDC) as a primary tool for growth and pipeline management.

Required profile

• BE/B Tech (Electrical) or MBA with 7–15 years of direct/indirect sales experience.
• Proven experience in key‑account management within the electrical sector.
• Strong knowledge of electrical contractors, consultants, and utility customers.
• Self‑motivated, results‑oriented, and able to inspire cross‑functional teams.
