Area Manager – Multi‑Outlet Restaurant Operations

About the role

The Area Manager will lead multiple Punjabi Angithi outlets in New Delhi, ensuring consistent operational standards, food quality, hygiene and a superior customer experience across all locations. This full‑time, on‑site position reports to senior management and works closely with cross‑functional teams such as HR, supply chain and marketing.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of several restaurant outlets, maintaining brand guidelines and SOP compliance.
• Monitor sales, costs and inventory, analysing performance metrics to drive revenue and profitability.
• Implement and enforce food safety and hygiene standards.
• Train, coach and mentor outlet teams, handling performance management and staff scheduling.
• Resolve escalated customer issues and ensure high service standards.
• Coordinate new outlet openings, process rollouts and inventory supply with central teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing multiple outlets in the restaurant, QSR or hospitality sector.
• Strong leadership and people‑management abilities, including coaching and performance evaluation.
• Operational expertise in store management, inventory control and adherence to SOPs and food safety regulations.
• Analytical and commercial acumen with comfort handling sales reports, cost control and basic P&L concepts.
• Customer‑centric mindset with ability to manage escalations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business or related field preferred; relevant experience also considered.
