Area Head – Gold Loans (Kolhapur)

About the role

The Area Head – Gold Loans will lead the execution of the regional gold‑loan strategy for the Kolhapur area, balancing rapid growth with strict risk discipline. Reporting to senior leadership, the role is responsible for driving profitability, portfolio quality and operational governance across multiple branches.

Key responsibilities

• Translate the national gold‑loan strategy into an actionable area plan, setting targets for AUM, disbursement, P&L and branch expansion.
• Lead and mentor a team of branch heads, overseeing day‑to‑day operations and ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines.
• Build and nurture new relationships with all enabling functions and regional stakeholders to support business growth.
• Define manpower structure, productivity benchmarks and business plans aligned with corporate objectives.
• Monitor portfolio performance, market trends and risk indicators, taking corrective actions as needed.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in gold‑loan or NBFC operations.
• Strong understanding of RBI regulations and compliance requirements.
• Demonstrated ability to achieve growth and profitability targets across multiple branches.
• Excellent relationship‑building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
