Area Head – Gold Loan Business (Allahabad)

About the role

Aditya Birla Capital Limited is seeking an experienced leader to head its gold loan business in the Allahabad region. The Area Head will translate the regional gold loan strategy into actionable plans, driving rapid asset growth while maintaining strict risk discipline.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute the area‑level gold loan business plan aligned with corporate strategy.
• Oversee profit and loss statements, ensuring revenue targets and cost discipline.
• Maintain compliance with RBI regulations, RBO guidelines, and internal risk policies across all branches.
• Drive AUM growth, monitor LTV norms, and manage portfolio quality amid gold price volatility.
• Prevent fraud, jewelry substitution, and internal collusion through robust security and audit mechanisms.
• Improve performance of under‑performing branches and optimize fixed costs.
• Deliver transparent, fast, and respectful customer experiences to protect branch reputation.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in NBFC or banking, preferably in gold‑loan or retail‑loan segments.
• Strong track record of achieving growth targets while managing risk and compliance.
• Deep understanding of RBI regulations and gold‑loan specific risk parameters.
• Ability to lead large, distributed teams and influence cross‑functional stakeholders.
