Architectural Design Manager – Luxury Villa Projects

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Architectural Design Manager to lead the design of high‑end residential villas in Mumbai. The role focuses exclusively on architectural planning, master‑planning and project delivery, working closely with land acquisition, sales and engineering teams.

Key responsibilities

• Lead architectural design, plotting and master‑planning to ensure quality and timely delivery.
• Collaborate with land acquisition to conduct feasibility studies and prepare test‑fits.
• Coordinate with sales, project managers and consultants to align timelines and space programs.
• Organise and chair project kick‑off and weekly review meetings.
• Review consultant deliverables and provide constructive feedback.
• Ensure compliance with Isprava’s standards, Indian building codes and relevant regulations.
• Prepare feasibility reports, design proposals and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Work with MEP engineers, interior designers and landscape architects to finalise design concepts.
• Conduct regular site visits, monitor execution quality and document observations.
• Resolve design challenges and supply technical solutions to construction teams.
• Oversee snagging and final inspections before handover.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Architecture (mandatory); Master’s degree in Architecture or Urban Planning is a plus.
• Minimum 6 years of architectural experience, preferably in residential luxury villa projects.
• Strong background in architectural practice and real‑estate design management.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Prior on‑site experience is beneficial.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in creating and delivering PowerPoint presentations.
• Hands‑on experience with SketchUp.
• Familiarity with Revit and USGBC standards.
