Architect (Full‑time, On‑site)

About the role

VAO Architects Research and Design Studio is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Architect to join its dynamic team in Mumbai. You will work across residential, commercial and interior projects, turning user‑centric concepts into built realities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop architectural concepts and produce design drawings from schematic to construction documents.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary consultants and ensure integration of design elements, systems and regulations.
• Participate in client and site meetings, translating contextual requirements into design solutions.
• Support project management activities, including timeline tracking, deliverable coordination and documentation control.
• Contribute to design reviews, refining solutions to improve project outcomes.

Required profile

• Professional degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; CO registration preferred.
• Strong foundation in architectural design with a focus on context‑sensitive, user‑centric solutions.
• Experience in residential, commercial or interior projects within an urban setting.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication abilities.
