Apprentice – Physical Design & Integration (Associate Engineer)

About the role

Join Airbus India’s Physical Design and Integration (PDI) department in Bangalore as an Apprentice Associate Engineer. This 12‑month apprenticeship offers fresh graduates the chance to work on system installation, cabin design, and integration projects at the heart of a global aerospace leader.

Key responsibilities

• Manage system installation work packages covering cabin design, mechanical systems and electrical systems.
• Support other work‑package and group leaders as needed.
• Network and liaise with teams across airframe, systems, and cabin sub‑domains, including industrialisation, standardisation, research and environment integration.

Required profile

• Fresh graduate (undergraduate or postgraduate) in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial/Production or Aerospace Engineering.
• No prior full‑time professional experience; internships and academic projects are acceptable.
• Commitment to complete the full 12‑month programme.
• Technical knowledge of aircraft industrialisation principles, aircraft build processes, and systems installation (mechanical and electrical).
• Understanding of production management and manufacturing processes.
