Application Support Engineer – Salesforce (Mid‑Level)

About the role

Wilhelmsen Port Services is seeking a mid‑level Application Support Engineer to join its global team in Chennai. You will work on Salesforce‑based applications, providing both support and development expertise to ensure smooth operation of critical production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Provide application support for production environments, handling incidents and issue resolution.
• Diagnose problems using Salesforce logs, Developer Console, Workbench and monitoring tools.
• Develop defect fixes, enhancements, and custom solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Flows.
• Collaborate with development, release, and platform teams to resolve issues end‑to‑end.
• Maintain accurate ticket updates, documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Participate in incident reviews and continuous‑improvement activities.

Required profile

• Mid‑level Salesforce professional with at least 6 years of development or application support experience.
• Comfortable working across both support and development workstreams.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and diagnose production issues.
