Application Security Engineer (AVP) – Bengaluru

About the role

The Application Security Engineering squad at ANZ protects the bank by ensuring that all applications are built securely. As an Application Security Engineer (AVP), you will help accelerate delivery while embedding security best‑practice across the development lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Provide application security services including secure code reviews, software composition analysis and security development training.
• Assess tool outputs, review code and configuration, and advise development teams on vulnerability remediation.
• Integrate, manage, fine‑tune and automate security tooling to enable DevSecOps across the enterprise.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to embed security controls early in the development process.
