About the role

EY is looking for a Senior Security Software Engineer focused on building and integrating security‑focused applications using Microsoft Power Platform and AI‑driven features. You will work within the InfoSec Technology team to design, develop, and maintain secure business solutions that meet complex business needs.

Key responsibilities

• Design, code, and test secure applications on the Power Platform, integrating AI capabilities where appropriate.
• Connect applications to databases, third‑party services, and SharePoint sites using Web APIs, SQL, and gateway tools.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimisation to ensure scalability and reliability.
• Document architecture, code, and processes, and maintain comprehensive technical documentation.
• Lead technical discussions, coach development teams, and conduct code reviews focused on security best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, risk partners, and business stakeholders to balance security, usability, and delivery timelines.

Required profile

• Proven experience in application development with a strong understanding of security principles.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication skills for conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership, architects, data owners, QA, and operations teams.

Required skills

• Microsoft Power Platform development (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Power Platform AI capabilities and solution lifecycle management.
• Dataverse data modelling and model‑driven app design.
• Integration using Web APIs, SQL, and gateway tools.
• SharePoint site configuration, permissions, and library management.
• CI/CD pipelines and automated verification for Power Platform solutions.
• IAM, governance, and DLP security policy implementation.
