Android Mobile Application Developer

About the role

Rapido is looking for an Android Mobile Application Developer to join its core mobility team. You will work on the Customer and Rider apps that serve millions of users across India, building high‑performance features that power real‑time rides, GPS, and payments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain Android applications using Kotlin and modern Jetpack libraries.
• Collaborate with product, design and business teams to translate requirements into reliable features.
• Write clean, reusable code and continuously improve the code base for performance and quality.
• Integrate third‑party data sources and APIs into the Android app.
• Identify, debug and resolve bottlenecks, bugs and performance issues.

Required profile

• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Experience with unit testing and application performance monitoring.
• Ability to write maintainable, reusable code and follow best‑practice guidelines.
