Android Mobile Application Developer

About the role

Rapido is seeking an Android Mobile Application Developer to enhance its core mobility features across the Customer and Rider apps. You will work with cutting‑edge mobile technologies, tackling challenges of scale, performance, security, and cost optimization to deliver a seamless experience to millions of users.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high‑quality Android applications.
• Collaborate closely with product, design, and business teams to translate ideas into functional features.
• Continuously improve the codebase for optimal performance and adherence to quality standards.
• Build reusable, efficient components and drive best‑practice adoption.
• Integrate third‑party data sources and APIs into the Android app.
• Identify and resolve bottlenecks, fix bugs, and enhance overall application performance.

Required profile

• B.Tech/B.E. in Computer Science or equivalent.
• Minimum 4 years of professional Android development experience.
• Strong expertise in Kotlin and Android SDK.
• Experience with unit testing and application performance monitoring.
• Ability to write maintainable, reusable, and understandable code.
• Good understanding of the Android application lifecycle.
• Strong sense of ownership and passion for delivering delightful user experiences.
