Android Engineer – Incentive App Development

About the role

We are seeking an Android Engineer to build reliable, fast, and scalable mobile experiences for our incentive‑driven applications. You will work on core user journeys that directly affect reward delivery, ad engagement, and overall revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Android applications for Incent Apps, Offerwall products, and the House of Apps portfolio.
• Implement user flows for offer discovery, task completion, reward unlocking, wallet updates, referrals, and engagement loops.
• Integrate and optimise ad‑monetisation SDKs (rewarded ads, interstitials, native placements, banners, offerwalls).
• Track app‑side events to capture user actions, offer completions, ad impressions, clicks, reward triggers, and funnel drops.
• Collaborate with Product, Growth, and Backend teams to run experiments and integrate APIs for campaigns, eligibility, reward status, transaction history, and fraud checks.
• Debug and resolve issues that impact business metrics, such as broken reward flows, delayed updates, crashes, ANRs, and low‑end device performance.
• Improve performance metrics including launch time, screen load time, API failure handling, offline support, memory usage, and crash‑free sessions.
• Own Android releases across internal testing, QA builds, Play Store roll‑outs, staged releases, versioning, and hot‑fixes.

Required profile

• Proven experience building high‑volume Android applications with a focus on reliability and speed.
• Understanding of how incentive‑led app issues (e.g., delayed rewards, broken deep links) affect revenue, user trust, and retention.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams to deliver experiments and integrate backend services.
• Strong debugging skills for performance problems on a wide range of devices and OS versions.
