Android Developer

About the role

We are a high‑growth, VC‑backed SaaS startup building the Android client for a product used by teams in over 40 countries. As an Android Developer you will own the roadmap of the Android app and build core features end‑to‑end.

Key responsibilities

• Build and ship features in Kotlin/Java across core modules of the app.
• Own performance metrics such as app startup time, memory footprint, and crash‑free sessions.
• Write unit and UI tests and keep the CI pipeline green.
• Collaborate with design and product to turn specifications into polished, accessible screens.
• Participate in code reviews, raising the bar on architecture and code quality.
• Debug and resolve issues reported via crash reporting tools and app store reviews.

Required profile

• 2 to 6 years of experience building production Android apps using Kotlin or Java.
• Strong understanding of Android architecture components, coroutines, and modern UI toolkits (Jetpack Compose or XML‑based views).
• Experience shipping apps to the Play Store and analysing crash/ANR reports.
• Clear written and spoken English and a reliable remote‑work setup.
