Android Developer

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Android Developer to join our fast‑growing consumer technology platform. You will build high‑scale native Android applications that serve millions of users across food delivery, quick commerce, dining, and digital convenience services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable native Android apps using Kotlin.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, backend, QA, and fellow engineers to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Write clean, reusable code and implement new features, enhancements, bug fixes, and architectural improvements.
• Utilise Kotlin Coroutines, Flow, Android Architecture Components, Hilt/Dagger, and REST APIs to build robust applications.
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure stability and release quality.
• Optimize performance by resolving ANRs, memory leaks, rendering issues, and startup delays.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, Agile ceremonies, technical documentation, and release planning.

Required profile

• 1–6 years of professional Android development experience with strong Kotlin expertise.
• Deep understanding of Kotlin, Coroutines, Flow, Android SDK, Android Studio, and modern development practices.
• Experience with MVVM, LiveData, Room, View Binding, Data Binding, RecyclerView optimization, and clean architecture.
• Hands‑on with DI frameworks (Hilt or Dagger), REST API integration, JSON/Protocol Buffers, Git, and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Strong debugging skills for ANRs, memory leaks, crashes, and performance issues.
• Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform, automated testing, and scalable mobile architecture is a plus.
