AI/ML Engineer (6-8 years) – Hybrid – Bangalore/Gurgaon/Pune

About the role

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to join a top multinational client on a permanent basis. The role involves building and deploying multimodal machine‑learning models across NLP, computer vision, OCR, and speech domains, working in a hybrid environment across Bangalore, Gurgaon or Pune.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy multimodal ML models for NLP, computer vision, OCR and document understanding.
• Create robust pipelines for text processing, entity extraction, classification, image tagging, moderation and visual understanding.
• Implement speech‑to‑text and speaker‑level analysis solutions.
• Build Retrieval‑Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines with text and multimodal indexing.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate models into production systems.

Required profile

• 6‑8 years of hands‑on experience in AI/ML engineering.
• Immediate availability or ability to join within a short notice period.
• Willingness to work on‑site part of the time in Bangalore, Gurgaon or Pune (hybrid model).

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Experience with PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Hands‑on work with NLP, computer‑vision or speech models.
• Familiarity with large language models (LLM) and orchestration frameworks such as LangChain or LlamaIndex.
• Experience with vector search and semantic retrieval tools (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, Azure AI Search).
• Solid understanding of Docker, Kubernetes and CI/CD pipelines.
