AI Training & Research Leadership Roles (Director & Assistant Director)

About the role

Brainware University is expanding its Artificial Intelligence Education, Training & Research ecosystem and is looking for senior leaders to drive AI‑focused teacher training, faculty development, and applied research. The positions include two Director roles and three Assistant Director roles, all based on‑site in Barasat, West Bengal.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and enhance AI‑based teacher training and capacity‑building programmes.
• Design, implement, and supervise AI research projects and innovation initiatives.
• Develop advanced curricula, training frameworks, and high‑quality learning resources for AI education.
• Mentor faculty, trainers, researchers, and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Forge strong industry‑academia collaborations and promote practical AI applications.
• Contribute to academic excellence, research publications, and strategic growth of the institution.

Required profile

• PhD, M.Tech or M.Sc. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security or related fields.
• Proven record as an academic, researcher, technology leader or practicing AI professional.
• Deep understanding of real‑world AI applications and emerging technologies.
• Demonstrated leadership, mentoring and team‑management capabilities.
• Research publications, patents, industry contributions or significant project experience are highly valued.
