AI Generalist

About the role

Scouto is building an autonomous AI recruiter that handles sourcing, outreach, video screening, ranking, and scheduling without human intervention. We are looking for an AI Generalist to own end‑to‑end recruiting operations, automation, and client coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Translate client hiring requirements into AI‑powered recruitment campaigns.
• Set up, manage, and continuously optimise hiring workflows within Scouto’s platform.
• Coordinate with founders, hiring managers, and client stakeholders to ensure smooth campaign execution.
• Review AI‑generated candidate pipelines, curate top profiles and share recommendations.
• Monitor campaign performance and suggest improvements to sourcing, outreach, screening and ranking.
• Use AI tools to automate documentation, reporting, communication and workflow creation.
• Build lightweight automations, templates, prompts, SOPs and internal processes to reduce manual effort.
• Serve as the primary liaison between clients and the AI recruiter.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to relay feedback, troubleshoot issues and influence product enhancements.

Required profile

• 1+ years experience in operations, recruiting, customer success, account management, founder’s office or a similar generalist role.
• Deep familiarity with AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Perplexity, Notion AI, Zapier, Make, etc.) and a habit of automating routine work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, highly organised and detail‑oriented.
• Comfortable coordinating with multiple stakeholders and thriving in ambiguous, fast‑changing environments.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset, able to break messy tasks into repeatable workflows.
• Curiosity about AI, automation, recruiting, SaaS and startup operations.
