Advanced Capability & Services Engineer

About the role

The Advanced Capability & Services Engineer will bridge aerospace structural engineering and cutting‑edge software development. Working within the Aerostructure Data Management team, you will lead technical projects that create and scale optimisation tools for airframe components.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end lifecycle of Multidisciplinary Design Optimization (MDO) projects for airframe structures.
• Collaborate with software developers, data scientists and engineers to integrate commercial and in‑house physics solvers such as FEA and CFD.
• Define engineering requirements and conduct Business Acceptance Tests (BAT) to ensure tools meet safety and quality standards.
• Industrialise and scale AI‑based surrogate models and optimisation solutions across multiple aircraft programs.
• Coordinate stakeholder expectations, track milestones and translate technical trade‑offs into deployment strategies.
• Support the evolution of next‑generation structural analysis platforms and validate subcontracted activities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree with experience in aerospace structures design.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering applied to software development and deployment.
• Proven ability to lead cross‑functional technical projects in a high‑performance environment.
