Actuarial Specialist – Non-life Insurance (IFRS 17) – Gurgaon

About the role

PwC is seeking an experienced actuarial professional to join its Advisory team in Gurgaon. The role focuses on non‑life insurance projects, particularly the implementation and assurance of IFRS 17 and Ind AS 117 standards for Indian and international clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and deliver actuarial consulting engagements related to IFRS 17/Ind AS 117 implementation, audit reviews and M&A due diligence.
• Collaborate with clients to design and enhance actuarial propositions and services.
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to junior staff and client teams.
• Support staff augmentation assignments and ensure high‑quality deliverables across multiple streams.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in non‑life insurance actuarial work or consulting.
• Hands‑on experience with IFRS 17 and Ind AS 117 implementation.
• Strong understanding of non‑life insurance products and regulatory environment.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills.
