Accountant (Tally, GST, TDS) – Mumbai

About the role

Cere Labs is looking for a detail‑oriented and reliable Accountant to join its Mumbai office. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring compliance with Indian tax regulations, and supporting payroll and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily accounting operations and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Prepare and file TDS and GST returns in accordance with statutory deadlines.
• Maintain financial records using Tally software.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and periodic reports.
• Perform account reconciliations and support month‑end closing.
• Process payroll, including employee attendance, leave management, and statutory deductions.
• Use MS Excel and Word for documentation, reporting, and data analysis.
• Carry out basic computer tasks and support routine office operations.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic.
• Solid foundation in accounting principles and practices.
• Experience with Tally, GST, and TDS compliance.
• Organised, efficient and able to work independently or within a team.
