Accountant – Smart Home Automation & E‑commerce

About the role

DBGTECH Solutions, a fast‑growing smart‑home automation and e‑commerce company, is seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Accountant. You will independently handle day‑to‑day accounting, taxation, reconciliations, invoicing and financial reporting for a dynamic B2B/B2C environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain complete books of accounts in Zoho Books.
• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, expenses and journal entries.
• Generate tax invoices, proforma invoices, credit and debit notes.
• Prepare and file GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B and perform monthly GSTR‑2B reconciliation.
• Calculate TDS, make challan payments and file quarterly TDS returns.
• Generate e‑invoices, e‑way bills and delivery challans.
• Perform daily and monthly bank, customer, vendor and general‑ledger reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable/receivable and monitor outstanding payments.
• Reconcile online sales, payment gateways, returns and refunds.
• Maintain inventory‑related accounting records and process employee reimbursements.
• Assist with payroll, Professional Tax, PF and ESIC compliance.
• Prepare monthly P&L, cash‑flow and MIS reports and support month‑end/year‑end closing.
• Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for audits and taxation.

Required profile

• B.Com, M.Com, MBA Finance or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 3 years of practical accounting experience.
• Strong hands‑on knowledge of Zoho Books and Indian GST/TDS regulations.
• Proven ability to manage daily accounting activities independently.
• Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills.
