Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting activities, ensuring accurate recording of transactions and supporting month‑end and year‑end closing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Post and process journal entries to capture all business transactions.
• Maintain accounts receivable, issue invoices and follow up on payments.
• Maintain accounts payable, perform reconciliations and manage vendor payments.
• Assist in the preparation of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements in line with legal and company guidelines.
• Review expenses, payroll records and other assigned financial documents.
• Update financial data in databases to guarantee accuracy and timely availability.
• Prepare and submit weekly or monthly financial reports.
• Support senior accountants during monthly and yearly closing cycles.
• Participate in additional accounting projects as required.

Required profile

• Graduated with a B.Com or MBA degree.
• Strong analytical mindset with good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of standard accounting principles and practices.
