Accountant

About the role

Zivaya, a leading chain of luxury wellness outlets across India, is seeking a diligent Accountant to manage expense tracking, ledger maintenance, and financial reporting. The role supports the finance team in ensuring accurate records and compliance with statutory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Record all company expenses in Tally ERP and map them to the correct accounts.
• Perform bank reconciliations and match them with sales data from e‑commerce platforms.
• Conduct stock reconciliations to ensure alignment between physical stock and accounting books.
• Prepare budgets and assist with financial planning as required by management.
• Coordinate with the Chartered Accountant for timely filing of taxes and compliance.
• Maintain up‑to‑date accounting entries and documentation for audits.
• Follow up on payments and outstanding dues with clients and vendors.
• Handle routine banking tasks and process vendor payments.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong attention to detail, ownership, and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Tally ERP.
• Bank reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Experience with MIS, Excel, and Google Spreadsheets.
• Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliances.
