Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to manage our financial transactions, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with accounting standards and statutory regulations. The role involves end‑to‑end accounting operations and close collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journal entries.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Prepare invoices, payments, receipts, and expense reports.
• Perform bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Handle GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation.
• Monitor financial transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Coordinate with vendors, clients, and internal departments on financial matters.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in accounting and finance.
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, taxation, and statutory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Tally.
• Experience with Zoho Books.
• Experience with QuickBooks.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
