Accountant – Invoice to Cash (Bangalore)

About the role

Caterpillar is seeking an experienced Accountant to manage the Invoice to Cash (ITC) process within its Global Finance Services division. Based in Bangalore’s Whitefield office, you will support business units with receivable governance, credit analysis, and financial reporting while collaborating on SAP implementation projects.

Key responsibilities

• Lead receivables governance, including past‑due and risk reviews with business units.
• Administer receivable collections and perform credit analysis for business units.
• Coordinate bad‑debt review meetings and advise on potential concerns.
• Collaborate with audit partners and service providers to meet audit requirements.
• Support Mach1 (SAP) implementation projects and related special projects.
• Prepare and deliver financial performance reports and insightful analysis for internal and external stakeholders.
• Maintain and enforce internal controls.
• Support business transitions, transformations, and ad‑hoc reporting requests.

Required profile

• College degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or Economics.
• Substantial experience in Invoice to Cash, cash applications, master data management, billing, collections, and credit management.
• Project experience with SAP ERP implementation, specifically SAP Mach1.
• Ability to work flexible shift timings (1:00 PM – 10:00 PM) aligned with EMEA hours and occasional APAC/US shifts.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
