Accountant – End‑to‑End Finance Owner for Distribution Business

About the role

We are a CFA and super‑stockist operation seeking an accountant who will own the entire financial function of the business. You will be responsible for accurate bookkeeping, tax compliance, and ensuring smooth cash‑flow processes within a fast‑moving distribution environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain end‑to‑end accounting records, ensuring all entries are accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Prepare and file GST returns (monthly/quarterly) and handle TDS & TCS deductions and returns.
• Process vendor payments promptly, with proper tracking and verification.
• Reconcile customer payments, matching every receipt to the appropriate invoice.
• Liaise with banks for queries, statements, and required documentation.
• Understand the company’s cost and income structure and record entries accordingly.

Required profile

• 3–6 years of accounting experience, preferably in FMCG, distribution, or trading.
• Strong practical knowledge of GST, TDS, and TCS regulations.
• Proficiency with Tally or any other accounting software.
• Self‑starter who asks the right questions and works independently.
• High attention to detail and a habit of keeping records clean and current.
