Account Manager – Utilities Sector

About the role

The Account Manager will be based on‑site in Uttarakhand, India, and will manage a portfolio of customer accounts within the utilities sector. You will act as the primary point of contact, ensuring timely service delivery, accurate billing, and strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and grow relationships with assigned utility customers.
• Respond to inquiries, issues, and service requests promptly and professionally.
• Monitor account performance, prepare regular reports, and ensure contract compliance.
• Conduct account reviews, identify upselling or cross‑selling opportunities, and support renewal processes.
• Collaborate with operations, finance, and other internal teams to resolve issues and improve service quality.
• Document customer feedback and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in account management, customer success, or client services, preferably in utilities or a related industry.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication abilities.
• Excellent organizational, time‑management, and detail‑orientation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Willingness to work on‑site in Uttarakhand and collaborate across functions.
• Proactive, customer‑centric mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Experience using CRM or account‑management tools to track account health.
• Competence in data analysis and reporting.
