Account Manager – Industrial Process Fluids

About the role

Quaker Houghton is seeking an Account Manager to lead key accounts across India, covering the full product catalog of industrial process fluids, lubricants and coatings. You will build strong relationships, drive cross‑selling, and support the company’s ambitious growth plan.

Key responsibilities

• Develop business growth in the region to meet sales and margin targets, visiting customer sites regularly.
• Create and maintain relationships with all assigned contacts, increasing satisfaction and cross‑selling opportunities.
• Report sales targets, budgets and forecasts to the Regional Sales Manager using CRM, Excel and other tools.
• Prepare presentations, proposals and value‑selling plans that showcase Quaker Houghton’s benefits.
• Provide technical advice in collaboration with the Product Application team.
• Coordinate with Business Segment, Fluid Intelligence Solutions, Customer Service and Technical Service teams.
• Attend industry conferences, trade shows and monitor competitor activity.
• Travel 50‑60% of the time to customer and company sites.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of proven sales experience in metalworking, metal or related industrial sectors.
• Strong ability to build and nurture customer relationships at all organizational levels.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel extensively across India.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
