Academy Trainer – Adult Training for Teachers & Anganwadi Workers

About the role

Daira’s programmes rely on teachers and Anganwadi workers to run screenings independently. As an Academy Trainer you will deliver the training and certification that enables schools, centres and blocks to operate without Daira’s field team present.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Academy training to teachers, Anganwadi workers and clinical users across Hyderabad, Odisha and Gujarat.
• Run certification cohorts and ensure consistent standards across all regions.
• Adapt training delivery to the language and literacy level of each audience.
• Maintain and update training materials in collaboration with clinical and content teams.
• Follow up after sessions to verify skill retention and practical application.
• Report honestly on training outcomes, identifying gaps and reasons for any shortfalls.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience training adults such as teachers, frontline workers or clinical staff.
• Fluency in Telugu, Odia or Gujarati together with English.
• Educational background in education, psychology or public health.
• Commitment to teaching for competence rather than mere attendance.
