5G Wireless Developer

About the role

We are looking for a senior 5G Wireless Developer to design and implement carrier‑grade firmware for 5G‑FWA CPE products based on Fibocom, Quectel and Samsung modules. The role focuses on unifying multiple modem SDKs into a single, maintainable HN SDK, porting it to legacy platforms, and delivering a robust FOTA client that meets global telecom operator requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Merge Fibocom and Quectel SDKs into a unified HN SDK with clean abstraction.
• Port the unified SDK to legacy 5G‑FWA platforms without functional regression.
• Develop and validate a production‑grade FOTA client achieving >99% upgrade success.
• Integrate cellular modules with OpenWrt‑based routers and implement multi‑WAN failover.
• Ensure timely delivery of integration milestones aligned with product launch schedules.

Required profile

• 10–14 years of experience in embedded firmware development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Hands‑on experience with Fibocom and/or Quectel 5G modem SDKs (e.g., FG360, RG520F‑EU, RM52x series).
• Strong knowledge of 3GPP NR Release 15/16/17, AT commands, QMI/MBIM protocols.
• Proficiency in C/C++ for resource‑efficient embedded Linux development.
