2nd Level Support Analyst Order-to-Cash (SAP S/4HANA)

About the role

The 2nd Level Support Analyst will join BASF’s Digital Hub in Hyderabad, providing expert support for SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash processes. You will work in an ITIL-aligned environment, analysing incidents, identifying root causes and delivering reliable resolutions while continuously expanding your knowledge of SAP standard and clean-core principles.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and resolve incidents related to sales orders, deliveries, billing, pricing and output.
• Monitor and troubleshoot integration points with SAP MM, FI/CO, TM and external EDI flows.
• Document tickets, perform structured problem analysis and escalate when necessary.
• Read system logs, CPI flows, API calls and Kafka streams; assist with ABAP trace interpretation.
• Contribute to knowledge-base articles and support continuous improvement of support processes.

• Methodical and service-oriented work style.
• Strong documentation skills and commitment to SAP standard without custom work-arounds.
• Ability to work within defined support processes and collaborate with global teams.

Required skills

• SAP S/4HANA (SD module) – Order-to-Cash.
• ITIL-aligned incident handling.
• Understanding of SAP MM, FI/CO, TM integration.
• Basic knowledge of EDI, inter-company and STO scenarios.
• Experience with CPI flows, APIs and Kafka monitoring.
• Ability to read ABAP traces or debugging output.
