WordPress Developer – Full‑time (On‑site, Ahmedabad)

About the role

Wolfable is seeking a full‑time WordPress Developer to join its on‑site team in Ahmedabad. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high‑performing WordPress websites, working closely with designers, marketers, and clients to deliver visually appealing and functional digital experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop responsive WordPress sites, handling both front‑end and back‑end tasks.
• Customize themes, manage plugins, and perform website migrations.
• Write clean, efficient code in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
• Troubleshoot issues, optimise performance, and ensure compliance with Core Web Vitals.
• Integrate third‑party tools, APIs, payment gateways, and CRM systems.
• Maintain website security, backups, and hosting environments.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to meet project timelines and quality standards.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of hands‑on WordPress development experience.
• Strong understanding of theme customization, plugin management, and website migrations.
• Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and responsive design.
• Experience with page builders such as Elementor or Gutenberg.
• Knowledge of website speed optimisation, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO.
• Ability to integrate APIs, payment gateways, and CRM platforms.
• Familiarity with website security, backups, and hosting.
• Basic knowledge of Git, staging environments, and deployment processes is a plus.
• Detail‑oriented, problem‑solver with a growth mindset.
