Windows Server Administrator (Pune/Nagpur)

About the role

The position is for a Windows Server Administrator supporting enterprise environments in Pune, Chennai or Nagpur. The role involves remote interview and 24/7 on‑call support for critical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, harden and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 on physical and virtual platforms.
• Manage Active Directory services, including GPOs, password policies, replication and troubleshooting.
• Administer DNS and DHCP services, handling zones, records, forwarders and name‑resolution issues.
• Architect, implement and support Domain Controllers and related services in both physical and virtual environments.
• Monitor server performance, identify bottlenecks and apply improvements.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve incidents and enhance system efficiency.

Required profile

• 8‑10 years of hands‑on Windows Server administration experience.
• Strong expertise in AD DS, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy Management.
• Advanced knowledge of virtualization technologies such as VMware and Hyper‑V.
• Experience with server patching, security updates and vulnerability remediation.
• Proficiency with incident and change management tools like ServiceNow or Remedy.
• Ability to work in a 24/7 enterprise support environment.
