Windows Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Windows Administrator to join our Chennai team. You will be responsible for the design, deployment, and maintenance of Windows Server environments, ensuring high availability and security across the infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows Server 2012, 2016, and 2019.
• Manage VMware infrastructure, including VM deployment, cloning, and vMotion.
• Administer Active Directory, Group Policy, and DNS services.
• Develop and maintain PowerShell and batch scripts for automation.
• Oversee antivirus solutions and security patch management.
• Perform vulnerability assessments and server hardening.
• Monitor performance using tools such as BMC, Nagios, Dynatrace, and Splunk.
• Participate in root‑cause analysis and ITIL‑based incident management.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of hands‑on experience with Windows Server and VMware.
• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and scripting.
• Familiarity with security best practices, patch management, and vulnerability remediation.
• Experience with infrastructure monitoring and management tools.
• Good understanding of cloud platforms (GCP, Azure, AWS, OpenStack) is a plus.
