About the role
TechnipFMC is looking for a Welder V to join its energy industry projects. The role involves performing welding tasks and possibly supervising a team of welders while adhering to performance, quality and safety objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Operate welding tools according to complex specifications and blueprints.
- Plan and sequence welding operations, monitor and control the process.
- Adjust and ensure quality of welds in line with specifications.
- Detect problems, alert relevant parties and follow all safety procedures.
- Act as a reference for complex welding activities and teach junior welders.
- Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper setup.
Required profile
- Technical Bachelor degree.
- 2–3 years of welding experience.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
Required skills
- Welding tool operation.
- Blueprint interpretation.
- Welding supervision.
- Knowledge of welding safety standards.
