Welder – Industrial Fabrication

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our Coimbatore facility, where precision weighing and automation solutions are manufactured. The role is full‑time and on‑site, focusing on joining and fabricating metal components for our specialized equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret engineering drawings, weld symbols and specifications to plan fabrication work.
• Prepare materials, set up and operate Arc, TIG and MIG welding equipment.
• Perform welds in accordance with safety standards and quality requirements.
• Inspect completed welds, make adjustments, and ensure compliance with tolerances.
• Collaborate with fabrication and assembly teams to meet production schedules.
• Maintain welding tools and equipment, and follow PPE and safety protocols.
• Contribute to continuous‑improvement initiatives in the fabrication process.

Required profile

• Proven experience with industrial welding processes, especially Arc, TIG and MIG.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, weld symbols and specifications.
• Knowledge of material properties and safe handling practices.
• Physical stamina for standing long periods and moderate lifting.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
• Completion of a welding certification or vocational training is preferred.
