Website & Shopify Developer

About the role

Blusteak Media is looking for a full‑time, on‑site Website & Shopify Developer based in Kottayam. You will build, customize and maintain modern websites and Shopify stores that reflect brand guidelines and drive campaign results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop responsive front‑end interfaces using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
• Integrate back‑end functionality and ensure smooth user experiences across devices and browsers.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers and content teams to create landing pages, product pages and conversion‑focused features.
• Optimize site performance, troubleshoot technical issues and implement SEO‑friendly structures.
• Manage Shopify app integrations, customize themes with Liquid and support ongoing improvements based on analytics and user feedback.

Required profile

• Strong web development experience with modern websites and e‑commerce platforms.
• Proficiency in front‑end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and responsive design frameworks.
• Experience in back‑end development, relevant languages, frameworks and databases.
• Solid understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to translate brand guidelines into clean layouts.
• Hands‑on Shopify experience, including theme customization, Liquid templating and basic SEO.
• Familiarity with performance optimisation, cross‑browser compatibility and web security best practices.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams, manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
