Web Developer – WordPress & Shopify (Onsite, Kochi)

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Web Developer to join our team in Kochi. The role focuses on building, customizing, and maintaining responsive WordPress and Shopify websites for our clients, ensuring high performance and SEO friendliness.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify.
• Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and templates.
• Develop and tailor Shopify themes, storefronts, and e‑commerce features using Liquid.
• Build responsive, user‑friendly, and SEO‑optimized sites.
• Integrate third‑party APIs, plugins, payment gateways, and other web services.
• Troubleshoot website issues, bugs, performance, and compatibility problems.
• Optimize sites for speed, security, responsiveness, and search engine performance.
• Collaborate closely with designers and business teams to implement requirements.
• Perform regular updates, maintenance, and content changes.
• Ensure cross‑browser and mobile compatibility.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of professional web development experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with both WordPress and Shopify.
• Willingness to work onsite in Kochi.

• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, responsive web design
• REST API integration and third‑party services
• Git/version control
• PHP and MySQL (good to have)

• Basic UI/UX principles
• Google Analytics, Search Console, SEO tools
