Web Developer with SEO focus (Webflow & WordPress)

About the role

We are seeking a talented, detail‑oriented Web Developer to join our near‑shore team in Chandigarh and support a German technology portfolio. The role involves building and maintaining corporate sites, landing pages and e‑commerce stores primarily on Webflow and WordPress, with a strong emphasis on mobile‑first design and on‑page SEO.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites using Webflow and WordPress.
• Create pixel‑perfect, responsive layouts that work across devices and browsers.
• Write clean, structured HTML, CSS and JavaScript code.
• Implement basic on‑page SEO elements such as internal linking, alt texts and meta tags.
• Leverage AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) to accelerate development and problem‑solving.
• Build small automation scripts to streamline repetitive web and SEO tasks.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting quality and speed expectations.

Required profile

• Detail‑obsessed and able to deliver high‑quality work at a fast pace.
• Comfortable juggling several website projects at once.
• Proactive, autonomous and able to flag blockers early.
• Flexible, project‑driven schedule with occasional intensive days.
• On‑site presence in Chandigarh.

Required skills

• WordPress – expert level, including building, customizing and managing sites.
• HTML & CSS – expert level, clean and responsive coding.
• JavaScript – advanced, with DOM manipulation and lightweight scripting.
• Mobile‑first web development – expert.
• Webflow – strong proficiency (preferred).
• AI tool usage (Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor) – active.
• Automation scripting (JavaScript, Python, n8n) – optional but beneficial.
• Basic SEO implementation – internal linking, alt text, meta structures.
