Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Operator

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Operator to manage and operate our RO and Demineralization (DM) systems on a shift basis. The role ensures a continuous supply of high‑quality treated water for boiler and process operations while maintaining plant efficiency and safety.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor Reverse Osmosis (RO) and Demineralization (DM) systems.
• Maintain uninterrupted supply of DM water to boiler and process sections.
• Track and record shift‑wise water generation, consumption, equipment running hours and downtime.
• Perform MB, ACF, MGF cleaning and backwash operations.
• Monitor chemical dosing, consumption and key process parameters (RO feed, permeate, reject flow, pressure, tank levels).
• Identify and troubleshoot operational issues in WTP equipment.
• Coordinate with boiler and utility teams to meet water demand.
• Maintain accurate shift and hourly logs.

Required profile

• 2‑5 years of experience operating WTP, RO, or DM plants.
• Experience in the distillery or chemical industry is preferred.
• ITI/Diploma in Mechanical, Chemical or Electrical Engineering.
• Certification in water treatment (preferred).
• Ability to work rotational shifts and follow safety procedures.
