Warehouse Specialist I

About the role

Warehouse Specialist I responsible for efficient store operations, ensuring receipt, storage, and issue of materials to support production schedules while maintaining accurate inventory records and compliance with 5S, TPM and TQM standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the component store, including receiving, safekeeping, accounting and issuing materials to meet monthly production schedules.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, conduct perpetual and annual stock verification, and provide timely inventory status to users.
• Ensure proper material handling, storage practices, shelf‑life management and disposal of rejected or excess materials.
• Update all store transactions in real‑time in the Oracle ERP system and keep complete documentation.
• Dispatch materials to subcontractors after verification and coordinate with Purchase, Quality and other departments.
• Monitor inventory levels, issue alerts to SCM and support corrective actions.
• Maintain compliance with 5S, TPM, TQM and EMS standards and ensure safe housekeeping in the store.

Required profile

• Minimum 6 years of experience in stores or warehouse operations.
• Education: B.Com / B.A or Diploma in Supply Chain Management.
• Strong understanding of store operations, inventory processes and ability to manage store manpower.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems and documentation procedures.
• Good focus on discipline, accuracy and compliance.
