Waiter/Waitress – Member Club Hospitality

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and reliable Waiter/Waitress to join our member‑club hospitality team. You will help deliver exceptional service to our diverse membership across meals and events, ensuring a memorable experience in line with Soho House standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in achieving guest satisfaction targets and food‑and‑beverage revenue goals.
• Follow company service standards for breakfast, lunch, dinner and events.
• Resolve service or product issues promptly and report incidents to the Restaurant or Club Manager.
• Escort guests, reset tables, and ensure smooth turnover during service periods.
• Check guest satisfaction throughout each meal and respond to special requests.
• Adhere to schedules, side‑jobs, and personal grooming standards.
• Attend formal training sessions and keep supervisors informed of any concerns.

Required profile

• Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service.
• Strong people skills, positive attitude and problem‑solving ability.
• Comfortable using service systems and handling basic administrative tasks.
• Ability to motivate and manage a small team.
• Punctual, reliable, trustworthy with a sense of urgency.
• Team player with good communication and a "can‑do" mentality.
