VP Finance Control Assurance

About the role

The VP Finance Control Assurance will lead design assessment and operating effectiveness testing of controls across the Business Unit, ensuring they are properly designed and operating to mitigate identified risks.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute detailed test plans to assess control design and operational effectiveness.
• Communicate findings and corrective actions to senior managers and relevant stakeholders.
• Collaborate with control professionals across the bank to ensure consistent testing methodologies.
• Maintain a knowledge centre documenting assessments, findings, and training material.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in risk management, controls assurance or internal audit.
• Strong understanding of SOx, COSO, Basel IV and other regulatory frameworks.
• Ability to communicate internal control concepts clearly to business partners.
• Experience with investment banking products and markets finance functions.
