Vice President - Valuation Controller

About the role

The Valuation Control Group (VCG) at JPMorgan Chase seeks a Vice President to lead price verification and fair‑value adjustment processes across multiple business lines. You will work closely with senior management, regulators, and audit teams to ensure accurate valuation reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Execute price verification and benchmark processes, including calculation of fair‑value adjustments.
• Support VCG control initiatives, management reporting, and regulatory mandates.
• Partner with functional groups to resolve valuation issues and implement corrective measures.
• Enhance the control framework by reviewing independent pricing processes and introducing new efficiency tools.
• Assess coverage developments and contribute to value‑added projects for Business, Risk, and Finance.

Required profile

• 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably in a financial institution.
• Undergraduate degree in finance or economics; graduate degree is a plus.
• Strong analytical and quantitative aptitude with the ability to understand complex products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
