Vehicle Application Engineer

About the role

As a Vehicle Application Engineer you will work within Bosch's Mobility Solutions and Cross Domain Computation divisions to bring steering, driver‑assist and maneuvering systems to customer vehicles. You will be involved from requirements analysis through to system validation on real vehicles, supporting both technical discussions and project documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Apply and integrate steering, driver‑assist and maneuvering systems for customer projects.
• Conduct requirements analysis, test planning and system release testing on bench, laboratory and real vehicles.
• Set application parameters and support system validation activities.
• Participate in technical discussions and negotiations with customers.
• Coordinate with vendors, development partners (hardware, software, CAD) and project managers.
• Prepare and maintain project documents according to Bosch quality standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of application processes.

Required profile

• B.E/B.Tech or M.E/M.Tech in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a comparable degree.
• 6‑10 years of relevant experience.
• Valid 2‑wheel and 4‑wheel driving licence (commercial vehicle licence is a plus).
• Strong analytical and creative thinking, structured working style, and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel.
• Fluency in English and Hindi; knowledge of Marathi, Kannada or Tamil is advantageous.
