UX Designer – AI & Enterprise Platforms

About the role

Airbus India is looking for a visionary UX Designer to shape the user experience of AI‑driven digital platforms and complex enterprise software. You will lead visual and interaction design, turning high‑tech concepts into intuitive, high‑performing products for our Bangalore‑based lab.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end product design, from research and user journey mapping to high‑fidelity UI, prototyping and design‑system maintenance.
• Design innovative interfaces for AI/ML and computer‑vision workflows, such as data annotation tools and spatial AI dashboards.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative user research, usability testing and contextual inquiries with domain experts.
• Define and scale comprehensive design systems and component libraries to ensure visual consistency across applications.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, machine‑learning engineers and developers to ensure design feasibility and seamless handoff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HCI, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Industrial Design, Computer Science or related field.
• 4–8 years of hands‑on experience designing complex enterprise or AI tool interfaces.
• At least one recognized UI/UX certification (e.g., NN/g UX Master, IxDF, Google UX Design Professional Certificate).

Required skills

• Design & prototyping tools: Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Principle, ProtoPie, Framer.
• UX research tools: Maze, UserTesting, Hotjar.
• Front‑end knowledge: HTML5, CSS/Tailwind, React, Vue.
• Design systems, information architecture, micro‑interactions, data visualisation.
• Accessibility standards: WCAG 2.1/2.2 compliance.
