University Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the role

Appian’s Talent Acquisition team is looking for a University Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead full‑lifecycle campus recruiting. You will be the face of Appian to students, faculty, and career centers, building pipelines and strengthening the company’s brand at top academic institutions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end recruiting lifecycle for university talent, from sourcing to offer negotiation.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships with university departments, career centers, and student organizations.
• Design and execute campus hiring events, presentations, and diversity sourcing initiatives.
• Partner with hiring managers and senior stakeholders as a trusted advisor on campus talent needs.
• Coordinate logistics for career fairs, interview days, and on‑site events, ensuring a seamless candidate experience.
• Manage high‑volume interview scheduling, candidate pipelines, job postings, and ATS data.
• Travel up to 20% during peak recruiting seasons to engage with candidates on‑site.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 2+ years of proven success in university/graduate recruiting or talent acquisition.
• Exceptional public speaking and presentation abilities for large student audiences and executives.
• Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and presentation tools such as Google Slides, PowerPoint, or Canva.
